  I had read a good review on a specialized site about this Blu-Ray and I am very disappointed. I didn't come back on this excellent work, but on the technical aspect. Basically, no change compared to the DVD edition and the restoration of 1996, which ultimately has been used for the mastering of the Blu-Ray (it has made great progress since then). The image is heavily mottled, as if a wire mesh was affixed in front of the screen, and the definition is rarely at the height (video projector SXRD, Sony & Panasonic plasma). Nothing to do with the grain of the film (very present). The colours have not the natural Blu-Ray (calibrated on mode "hot"), and the definition is thought of a DVD (well) upscallé. Otherwise, the image is clean. In light, one is closer to the good DVD that of Blu-Ray. When the sound, nothing new, always the soundtrack is mono, as it existed in the original stereo. In addition, the DTS MA 2. 0 power amp in stereo. On some amps, no DSP is therefore applicable. And the "HD" does not bring strictly nothing. In short, a big, very big disappointment.
